Ms. Judy- Director/Teacher
Hello and welcome to the Co-op!
Miss Judy is delighted to be part of the Cotati Rohnert Park Cooperative Nursery School community! She is absolutely passionate about working with children and their families in community-based education. Judy has been a preschool teacher and early childhood educator for over 25 years. She started her career as a teacher in 1994 and went on to become a pre-school program director, early learning instructional coach, parent educator, early learning consultant and finally completing her Doctorate in Developmental Psychology in 2015. As a life-long learner, Judy has studied and taught developmentally appropriate approaches to early learning, always with an emphasis on the importance of focusing on the Whole Child and the profound value of learning through project and play-based curriculum. Judy currently teaches Early Childhood Studies in the Education Department at Sonoma State University, where she continues to combine her passion and knowledge of child development with her deeply-rooted experience in early education.

Ms. Jessica - Parent & Me Teacher

I have worked with young children for many years, both as a nanny and as a paraeducator for the Marin County Office of Education. As a paraeducator, I worked with preschoolers with special needs and saw firsthand the value and importance of a child-centered, developmentally-appropriate curriculum. I was also fortunate to work alongside and learn from many experienced early childhood professionals. My experience at MCOE, coupled with my studies in child development, has shaped the educator that I am today.

My family joined the Co-op in 2017 when we enrolled our son in Parent and Me, and it has been a positive and rewarding experience from day one. I look forward to welcoming you to our Co-op community and working with you and your children!
