At the school we have 3 levels of classes: Parent & Me, Caterpillars, and Butterflies during the regular school year.

2 Year Olds – Parent & Me

                 This class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and offers a chance for parents and their child to get comfortable together in the school environment. Fun, interactive play projects along with singing and sharing stories helps to develop comfort for the child in the group environment.

3 Year Olds – Caterpillars

                 This class meets three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. It has more involved projects, exploration, and discovery as well as general play. Children are learning to grow and socialize more freely.  Each parent generally has one workday a week to help assist the teacher and work with the children.

4 Year Olds – Butterflies

                 This class meets Monday thru Thursday in the afternoon.  With more fun projects as well as simple responsibilities, the children are learning the general routine and simple skills needed to approach kindergarten.  Each parent generally has one workday a week to help assist the teacher and work with the children.

Summer Session (*when available) is a mixture of children ranging from ages 3 to 5.

*Mandatory Clean-up Weekend in January for all Families. M&M Hours are Monthly Maintenance. Committee’s include things such as Socials/Parade/Human Race/etc*

*A limited number of "partial participation" positions may be available for parents unable to accompany their child in the classroom due to other work or family commitments.

In addition there is an annual registration fee ($50) and insurance fee ($25) for each child.

As we are a co-operative school, parents (or family members) do a regular amount of work to maintain the school as well as provide help in various activities via committees such as fundraising, events, etc.  These responsibilities are outlined above as M&M Hours and Committee. Parents are also expected to help out in the classroom which is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with your child and the others with the school. Also each family must participate in our Annual Fundraiser. Fundraising is a vital part of our funding which helps in turn keep our costs down.
